How are all of you on this chilly, yet sunny day? I'm doing alright. I know, I know, I haven't updated in a while. I'm sorry about that. I really would like to update more often than I do. Christmas is fast aproaching kiddies. Who's excited??? Zarah and I helped mom set up her tree last week. Well, they did most of it. I was umm... supervising. hahaha. So, I ran my DC game this past weekend. Gage Harris (the Teen-Green Lantern) is dead. Templar wanted to change characters, so I let him. The death of a team-mate has added some nice drama with in the group though. Pretty cool stuff. Everyone was really adiment that I not give Renard the GL ring. hahaha. This weekend is the second half of the Doctor Who episode that Armand is running. I'm all amped up. I do love being a Time Lord in that game. Oh, speaking of Doctor Who. The good Doctor just celebrated his 43 year mark. Thats right, the show has been around for 43 years! I think the very episode aired on November 24th 1963. How are all of you on this day? I'm doing alright. So, I spent this week at Zarah's house with her. It was great, we had a great time spending that much time together. We watched movies, and cooked, it was a blast. Friday, she left to go up to Youngstown to see her frends and a show. Once there the alternater on in her car decided it wanted to stop living. But all is ok, she gettign the part replaced and should be home this evening. YAY!! Last night I went to the Guard Tower to play games with Armand, Templar and Lady M. Oh, also I had my little cousin Brendon with me. It was fun, we played BANG!, Kill Mr. Lucky, Grave Robbers From Outer Space, and Scrabble. It was lots of fun. So, this weekend is the Mid Ohio Con. I'm once again working the show. When I say working, I of course mean with out pay... sort of. I get into the convention for free, and a cool t-shirt, and often some other nifty swag as well. How are you all on this chilly night? I'm doing alright. I'm actualy staying at Zarah's this week. We didn't do too much last tonight, we just watched some Angel. We're on the fifth and final season. Oh speaking of the Whedon-verse, I found out that the eighth season of Buffy is going to be made as a comic book series! How cool is that? Pretty freakin' sweet if you ask me! Sunday night Armand ran a kick-ass Doctor Who game. It was lots of fun, it really had the feel of an episode to it. The running about, the witty comments said by the characters, the action, the flow. Everything was like a Doctor Who episode. Good times. Today I have to take Lizzy to the vet. She has this little growth on her eyelid and I want to know what it is. Its got me a little bit worried. I hope that its nothing but maybe some sort of zit or weird mole or somthing. She doesn't go to the vet often, about once a year. I do vote in every election, mostly because if I don't P-Diddy will come kill me. I kid, I vote because I love to. Anyway, today I got my Doctor Who DVDs in the mail. WA-HOO! Amazon.com totaly rocks it hardcore! Today was new comic day! Today I picked up Teen Titans, Green Arrow, Superman, Martian Manhunter, the new 52, and Batman. Good times. Goodness, Doctor Who DVDs and new comics... I'm in a geek over-load! hahahaha. OH. I finaly heard back from Wes (one of the guys in charge of the Mid Ohio Con) and I'm on the Crew! YAY! Its a good thing that I'm on the Crew, cause I really don't know if I would have paid to get in this year. Hopefully we'll get a few more guests before the show. How are you all today? I'm alright. The weekend has drawn to a close and another week has begun. My weekend was alright. Saturday I didn't much of anything. Just hung out here and did stuff on the computer. Around 11:30 that night I went over to M. Templar's house and hung out with him for a while. Sunday Zarah came over for a little bit before she had to go back to work. It was great to see her, cause I didnt see her Friday or Saturday. Last night I went to the Guard Tower to run my DC game. It went well. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. I made them has to make a tough choice in the game. It was great. After the game we went ahead and made our characters for the Doctor Who rpg that Amrand is gonna run next week. I can't wait to play this game, I'm all amped up for it. How are all of you on this chilly November eve? I'm doin alright. A little bit bored but no worse for the wear. I talked to Zarah a little bit ago, she was watching girly tv shows. I love her for that. I spent the evening pretty much alone. I watched tonights episode of Doctor Who. It was pretty sweet. I went to Half Price books a little bit ago. I feel like such a geek when what I do on a Friday night is watch Doctor Who then go to Half Prive books. Oh well, a geek I be. I found a JSA trade paper back that Dad and I didn't have so I picked it up. I also found a niftly little Doctor Who handbook for the third Doctor (Jon Pertwee) and another Doctor Who novel. Good times really. This Sunday I'll be running my DC game, that should be fun. I need to call the Vet and get Lizzy in. Its almost time for her yearly check up. How are you all on this day? I'm doing alright. So, yesterday was Halloween. It was pretty cool. AMC showed Halloween's 1,2,3,4,5 and Resurection. Good stuff. Also last night the TAPS team on Ghost Hunters did a LIVE investigation. I caught a little bit of it. It was a pretty novel idea. Zarah came over last night to pass out candy with me. We only had a total of five trick or treaters. WTF people! When I was kid we were out in force, now it seems there are less children every year. So, needless to say, I have lots of candy to eat that was left over. OH also, Zarah and I put the Jack-O-Lantern that me carved outside, it looked cool all lit up. After Zarah went home I watched the rest of last years season (or series if you're in the UK) of Doctor Who. I borrowed it from Armand. Great stuff. I haven't watched all the extras yet though. How are all of you doing on the Ol' Hallow's Eve? I'm doing alright myself. Last night was the horror game fun fest. And it was fun. We played "Grave Robbers From Outer-Space, Betrayal at House on the Hill, and Mall Of Horrors. Lots of fun hanging out with my friends and playing games. Next week is my week to run the DC (Mutants and Masterminds) RPG. But, the week after that... Armand is going to run DOCTOR WHO!!! And I, get to be the Time Lord. I'm super excited about, for many reasons. One, Doctor Who rocks it hardcore, two, I never get to be the leader/main character in a game (since I'm usualy running, or I elect to be a supporting character), and three, well Armand runs super fun games. YAY! So, my dad bought the candy we'll be handing out for Halloween. Zarah is gonna hand out candy with me. I love it! All the little kids running around dressed up as anything they want... How the hell are ya? I'm doin' alright I suppose. I first want to say that I'm very sorry for the loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong span of I time I've gone with out updating. My bad. So, where have I been you ask? I could say that my TARDIS fell out of the time-stream and that I've been trapped on an alternet Earth where the Cybermen still exsist, but that wouldn't be true. I was waiting fir picture of my trip to NYC, but I never really got all of them on the pc here. So waitinf for those turned into me not updating for MONTHS. I'm very sorry for that. So, Halloween is fast aproaching, wa-hoo!!! I'm all-a-twitter. Love it. AMC has been airing horror movies all this past week, good times. Last night Packrat Comics (who sometimes employs me) had a Mid-Night-Madness sale. 25,000 back issues on sale for a dollar! Not to mention everything else was 20% off! It was fun, there was pizza and good times. Armand was there, so I got to hang out with him for a while. Also, Zarah and I carved a pumpkin last night. Its got a skull on it. It looks pretty cool. At the sale I got some cool stuff, like the Young Justice "No Mans Land" tie in. It was sweet. Good times indeed. Also, Zarah and I wne to Boston and Salem a couple of weeks ago. It was fun. Long drive, but it was a fun trip. Salem rocks, we went on a ghost hunting tour. Lots of fun. Maybe I'll post some pictures of it sometime.
Tonight, I'm meeting with my buddies at the Guard Tower. Lady M, Armand, M. Templar. OH we got a new player in our DC (Mutants and Masterminds) game. He's cool, and fit right into the group. But yeah, tonight there will be no role-playing. Tonight is fun horror games. Since we're close to Halloween, we thought it would be fun. Lady M is gonna cook, and fun will be had by all.
So, I've got a brand new geeky obsession in my life now. Doctor Who. Its been on since 1963 but I really only started watching it this year. I saw a few of the episodes from last year, but I didn't really get into until this season (or series as they call it in the UK). For those of you who don't know who or what Doctor Who is, you should check it out. Its a great show, and loads of fun to watch. I haven't read them yet, I hope they all rock it. Next week I'm leaving for NYC. I'm so excited. It's gonna be a lot of fun. The other night Zarah and I watched Superman 2, and we also watched The Cave. I gotta say, Superman 2 was much better. I love that movie. Anyway, I played pool this week, both on Sunday and Monday. Today I went over to Zarah's and helped her and her family set for their garage sale tomorrow. It was fun. Renard and I started tossing around an old Nerf football and did that for like 45 minutes. Good times. Last night he and I worked on the script a little bit. We edited the first 29 pages a few nights ago. ITs nice to be working on the script again. Its pretty funny so far. Maybe I'll post it on here sometime. Tomorrow morning I have to be at Panera at 7:50 in the AM for Planet Bread. I'm not sure what is going to go down at it, but I'll be there till around 1:00. How are all of you on this day? I'm doing alright myself. Its been a little while since my last update, I really do need to start updating more than I have been. So, last Thursday, mom, Renard, Zarah, and myself went to a midnight showing of X-Men 3. It was ok. It was fun, and had some great action sequences. I still think that Brett Ratner is a fucking idiot who has no place being near a comic book movie, but thats just me. Saturday night Renard, Armand and I played some Time Spliters 3. Good times. Sunday evening mom and I went over at had dinner at Zarah;s house with her family so that we could discuss our trip to NYC. After dinner mom Renard and I went to Bankshots and played some pool. Thats always fun. We finaly introduced Lizzy to my moms new kitten Renie. They get along ok. They're both kind of afraid of each other, but I'm sure that with time they'll get along jsut fine. So, this week I put in an application at Panera Bread, and they hired me! Woot! I'm back to the world of the employed. Today I have to go in and fill out some paperwork, and Saturday morning I have to go to the Planter Bread orientation. I'm gonna start working after we get back from NYC. We leave for NYC in less than two weeks. I'm really looking forward to it, I think that the trip will kick various types of ass. It is hot as a bitch outside. Its killin' me. How are all of you on this day? I'm doing alright myself. The quarter is coming to a end very soon. Finals, papers in aevery class, lots of reading... You all know the drill. And I'm sure that you've all been there. Oi. So, I've started reading The Vampire Armand. No, no, no. It isn't about my friend and fellow poster. I will say this, its the most sexualy charges book that I've ever read from my dear Anne Rice. And she says "nether hair" a lot. Way too much infact. So, as my subjest line says, it is new Comic Day! Woot! Last week was too, I picked up Robin, and The Green Arrow. Today I picked up, Batman, Birds Of Prey, Catwoman, and Teen Titans. Thats right. DC finaly got 2 Teen Titans comics out in the same month. They've been a month behind since last year. All issues were good. Since the whole "One Year Later" thing started all of the writing has improved. Last night Zarah and I wathced Nanny McFee. I'm not sure if I spelled that write. Anyway, it was alright, kinda cute. My dad is gonna be out of town all weekend, he's got a business trip today, and he's spending the rest of it in WV. That means I get to park in the garage. hahaha. Yup. I was at the comic shop from about 12:50 until like 10 after 3 today. It was great. The owners and another customer and I were just hanging out and talking all things geek. How are all of you on this day? I'm doing alright. So, yesterday I got up uber early (for me anyway, it was around 6:40) and went up to Youngstown with Zarah's parents. We were going up to help her get moved out of her room and be back for the while Summer!!! Also we caught the last showing of Aladin. Zarah was the stage manager. We got her all packed up and moved out. Good times. Lindy and DC left after the show, Zarah and I stuck around for a bit and ate with the cast and crew of the show. After that we headed back to Columbus. The drive was fine, felt like it took a while longer than usual though. Once we got back we grabbed some late dinner and watched Saw 2. I was mighty tired. The movie was alright. I think that I liked the first one better though. After the movie Zarah went home. She and I have a lunch date today. After that, mom and I are going to shoot some "Mother's Day Pool", then Zarah and Lindy are coming over to mom's and we're gonna make fun mix drinks and talk about out upcoming trip to NYC. How are all of you on this day? I'm not too bad myself. So, last night was my 21st birthday party. And guess what? ZARAH WAS HERE!!!! It was all an elaborate plan set up to make me think she wasnn't coming in. But I was sitting in Dave and Buster's talking to Armand and Lady M, and all of sudden I look to my side and there Zarah is!! I was soooooooooooo surprised, and happy! So, lets run down the list of people that came to my party. ZARAH!, Armand, Lady M, Renard, D.C. and Lindy (Zarah and Renards Parents),Sandy(my moms friend), my mom, my aunt, and my grandmother Bugs. Now you're probably noticing that a Templar's name is missing from this list. Thats cause he didn't show up. I'm less upset that he didn't show, and more upset by the fact that he didn't call to tell us he wasn't coming. Oh well. So, we played lots of fun games at D&B. Some first person shooters, the old west gun game, lots of other stuff, and of course pool. Armand and I played against Zarah and Lady M. It was a long game, but in the end Armand and I won. Renard and I lost to my mom and Lady M though. It was lots of fun. D.C and Lindy got me a MAGIC BULLET!! How cool is that? Armand got me some Heroclix, my sweet Zarah got my a very cool "Snoochie Boochies" t-shirt and a pirate shot glass, Lady M bought me a round of beer, i got lots of fun cards, I cashed in prety much all of the tickets that were on my D&B card for a shot glass and a cool Batman plush, it was sooooo much fun. After the party we all went back to my moms condo. Zarah, myself, Armand, Lady M, and Renard got there first cause the others went on a store fun to get some stuff. We watched some Degrassi TNG. Great stuff. Gotta love that Canadian Teenage Melodrama with Universal Appeal! hehehe. After mom and crew got back from the store with lots of munchies and lots Molson (the bought me somewhere around 24 bottles of it), we played Apples to Apples, and then Guestures. It was a lot of fun. Now I know you're all wondering just how much I drank last night. Between D&B and my moms, I think I drank somewhere around half a Jager Bomb, and 5 Molsons. Thing was It didn't really effect me. I was eating pretty much the entire night, and I drank over a period of time. All in all, it was a great party, with great people, and I had a blast. How are all of you on this day? I'm not doing too bad myself. It's been a few days since I last updated. Tuesday night, Renard and I went and shot pool for a few hours over at Bankshots. It was a lot of fun. The DJ/ Kareoke(SP?) guy kept talking about how it was "ladies night" like every 20 minutes. I sang Big Balls! It was fun. Renard was intown for just the night, he was bringing back some of his stuff from school. He'll be back for the summer on Friday. So, yesterday was New Comic Day!!! I picked up my issues. Yesterday I got the final issue of Infinite Crisis, The New Teen Titans, JSA, Outsiders, Supergirl, Catwoman, Birds Of Prey, Robin, and Detective Comics. All issues were good. The end of the Infinite Crisis was great. The entire series rocked it hardcore! My birthday party is Saturday evening! I'm all-a-twitter! Woot! How are all of you on this day? I'm doing alright. So, as many of you know my birthday was yesterday. My 21st birthday! Woot! It was a pretty quiet day actualy. I went out to dinner with my parents, which was kinda weird since they've been divored for a few years. I had a wicked good t-bone steak, always yummy. After dinner, mom and I went over to Fats pool hall. Its a nice place, very classie on the inside. We shot several games while kicking back a couple of cold ones. I think mom was drinking Blue Moon, I stuck with Molson Canadian Lager. Its not a beer... Its a lager. I'm really not sure what the difference actualy is, I think it has somthing to do with the way that its brewed. Anyway, I like it. That was all that really happend last night. My party is gonna be Saturday night. I'm really looking forward to it. It should be loads of fun. Zarah is gonna be coming in for it! I can't wait to see her, its been soooooo long. Its pretty much gonna be me, Zarah, Armand, Lady M, Renard, mom, and Templar hanging out at the Dave and Busters for a while, then we're gonna head over to my mom's condo and chill there.
